Only a handful of people have seen a rare pink hippopotamus. Brothers, Will and Matt Burrard-Lucas, are among those fortunate few. Their experience is great news for anyone who wants to win a lottery. Why? The answer has to do with odds... and belief.
On September 28, the Burrard-Lucas brothers posted on their blog that they happened upon this extremely unique critter on the banks of the Mara river on the Masia Mara in Africa. As soon as they saw it, they grabbed their cameras and took as many pictures as possible. Their later research revealed no other recorded sightings of a pink hippo in that area... ever. So those pictures have put the brothers in the spotlight.
I'm not going to do the math on this, but just think about the numbers a little. There are currently about 150,000 hippos in the world, which is the smallest population of the animals ever. They numbers have been thinned by poaching. Over recorded history, several million hippo have lived, and only a handful pink ones have been seen.
So let's shift gears to the lottery.
You know the odds of winning a big lottery are long. You also know that people win the big ones regularly. In relation to the number of jackpots available to win, the winners are as rare as, well, pink hippos.
But, following what we'll call The Hippopotamus Method, you can get that big jackpot..
This method involves two steps.
Get in the rare pink mindset. In other words, in other words, instead of looking at how many people don't win (the ordinary hippos in the world), you need to keep your focus on how many people DO win (the pink ones). Our subconscious minds attempt to match our experiences with our thoughts, and our thoughts have a frequency that also matches up to experiences. So thinking about those unique sightings (jackpot wins), puts you on a frequency match with winning.
Take inspired action. Once you have a vision in your head of making that long shot a reality (instead of lamenting the poor odds), pay attention to your gut and take action accordingly.
You can't win a lottery if you don't play. Why not play in an inspired way? Pay attention to thoughts you have about numbers or systems that others have used to win. When you spot something that feels exciting and right to you, take action... just like the Burrard-Lucas brothers did when they saw that unique animal.
When you use this method combining focused thought with inspired action, you will find your own multi-million dollar rare pink hippopotamus: a lottery jackpot.
